A Little About Laura…

Best at: Being a friend. I’m real, down to earth, and accepting of others. I’m open, honest, and love building community. The makings of a good friend!

Worst at: Eating candy at the worst time. I usually crave candy more than a burger at dinner time. I love Sour Patch Kids, Nerd Clusters, and local chocolate.

Passionate about: Playing softball and volleyball. I can’t sit still…after sitting at a desk all day, I love to go play with people in the community. 

What's your “why”? I just want to see my community be better. When people mention being from Youngstown, it's met with immediate judgment. I believe we can make Youngstown a better place through service. Together, we can make it more welcoming– a place people are not afraid of. 

Favorite Hallmark: We create community among those with whom we work and with those we serve.
