A Little About Diana…

Best at: Being committed. When you care, what do you do? I’m invested; When I say “yes” and commit to something, I put everything into it. When I feel, I feel with all my heart. It’s more than a job; it’s a vocation.

Worst at: Push-ups. They keep coming back into my life. I like working out and taking exercise classes. I’ve been dealing with push-ups since I can remember–I can do 10 now!

Passionate about: Environmental justice. I’ve always cared about the environment, but now that I have two little ones, it makes me want to learn about taking care of it. We go hiking and exploring in California. There are a lot of county parks. I'm connecting with Sister Dorothy Stang and her love for the rainforest: the trees, the caterpillars, the lizards…we’ve been counting lizards.

What’s your “why”? My two children. I want to leave this world a better place. So many people have impacted me in my life and so many have helped me. I want to leave this place a better place for my generation and the next.

Favorite Hallmark: We embrace the gift of diversity.

The Hallmarks by the Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur are the essential characteristics, values, and activities of the NDMVA learning community. They are common principles that we share within both organizations. They recently refreshed their hallmarks! Click here to read the updated Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur Hallmarks.
