A Little About Brenden…

Best at: Listening to others. I have an empathetic ear. I don’t like to pander to whom I’m talking to. I like to give people the truth, not just what they want to hear. Part of being empathetic is being truthful in my responses to others.

Worst at: Staying inside. I enjoy being outside because it is a place that is very peaceful and calming, but it’s also fun to just be a student of nature. I love learning about the different interactions and patterns within the various ecosystems. Everything has its role and it’s fun to find the various puzzle pieces that make up the whole. When I’m not doing computer work or site visits, I try and work outside to get fresh air and quiz myself on what bird songs I hear. Being outside is just a one-stop-shop of learning and leisure.

Passionate about: Going to art museums and taking in classic art. I’m a big fan of Monet. I love the blotchy, hazy style of their art. I’m into surreal art and do pyrography in my spare time. 

What’s your “why”?: I strongly feel that people need assistance, whether monetarily, in the form of food or shelter. People need to help. Rather than waiting for someone else to help, why not me?
